Project 3106

Set in an exclusive private estate in Hertfordshire project 3106 showcases and what a ground floor extension and remodel can do to transform a home. 

We worked with our clients to assist with their foundation design, the estate was all built on what is called "made up ground" and required some redesign to include piled foundations. 

During this process we were able to strip back the internal finished within the home and begin structural work to create the base for an open plan living space. 

Re modelling three bathrooms, reworking bedrooms, electrics and heating to the first floor brought a complete new home feel to this area that was not overly affected by the main building works. 

Our work on the ground floor consisted of a large open plan kitchen, living and dining space with joinery installed by the talented Daniel Ramsey. A separate utility room, pantry, WC, office, large vaulted entrance porch and a living room. 

One of the key features to this build is an impressive eight meter long Minima sliding door set over three panels, showcasing the country side views on offer.
